There are two different camping areas on site - period camp for period tents, sunroofs etc and mundane camp for modern tents and caravans. The registration process is the same for both types of camps.
For both areas you must bring everything you need for your own camp, we only provide the space. Read more about on site facilities here.
In case your camp is a group i.e. will contain more than one tent/caravan please register Land Agent and Camp name in advance. This will allow us to add your camp name to the list in the event registration form so it can be selected by camp members when they are filling out the registration form.
In case your tent/caravan is not to be part of a camp group you don’t need to register a Land Agent and Camp name. When the main event registration is opened, you then register you and your tent and become then automatically a Land agent for your tent/caravan.
All tents and caravans (period and mundane) must have a Land Agent (contact person) that will be responsible for the camp and communication with the Site & Ground Autocrats.
Before the Double Wars event the Land Agent will receive an email with information about who has registered to stay in your camp. At the same time the Land Agent will be asked to send us information about all tents and other equipment in your camp so we can estimate how big an area you will get. We are expecting to send out the information email in the second end of April.
When you arrive on the site visit the Troll (Registration office). You will be directed to the area where you should set up your camp, with help from our Site & Ground Autocrats.
When the boom gate is open you can drive in, load on or off, drive out. This year the site will be divided into 2 areas:
When the boom gate is locked a fairly large cart is available for transportations inside of the period camp. Should you need an extra pair of helping hands, an autocrat will help you find a bunch of happy medieval bearers who will help you.
