For Children & Youth

Camelot (the Children’s tent)

There will be a tent available for children activities in Camp Albion that we call Camelot.

At Camelot, there will be materials for drawing and colouring, also some simple crafts. When there are no planned activities the tent is open for everyone (until 8 pm) to enjoy on their own.

Please see to that your child puts away things after them, so it is nice and tidy for others to use. Private things will be collected and left at the lost and found every night.

You, the guardian, are responsible for your own property, not the kids.

After 8 pm the tent is only for the youth to use so that they have a place for themselves.

Homework hour in the tent Camelot

We will join forces (all adults) and have a get together to help out with homework (Homework hour/Läxhjälpen) for the school youths at least 3 different mornings before the regular activities begin.

Arts and Science

There will be Arts and Science (A&S) activities during the event. Most of these activities will probably be held in the Camelot tent but they can also be held in other camps. Children and Youths who want to participate in arts and science classes should have an adult accompanying them if the teacher doesn't say otherwise. Archery

There will be archery possibilities during the event. Children and Youths who want to participate in archery should have an adult supervising them while shooting.

Thrown Weapons

There will be Thrown Weapons possibilities during the event. Children and Youths over the age of 5 who want to participate in Thrown weapons should have an adult supervising them while shooting.

Fighting (boffer)

There will hopefully also be boffer-fighting possibilities during the event.

Fencing

There will be fencing possibilities during the event for youths.

War (Knäckebrödskriget)

It will be possible for the children and youth to participate in the Knäckebröds-War in different activities. More information will be available at the event in the Troll tent and in Camp Albion.

Schedule

The schedule is not final and may be changed. Late changes - if any - will be posted at site. All posts missing time/date will be added as soon as known.

NB: There are plenty of other classes also open for youths. Be sure to check out all the classes so you don't miss anything you fancy.

Camp Albion

This year we again offer the youths a designated area specific for youths of Drachenwald to have their own camp in, if they so choose.

If you, or your parent/guardian, have any questions about Camp Albion, please contact Ingrid Audardotter or Beatrix Gareysin.

Open to all young people from 13 years of age
You need to bring your own tent.
Register through the "normal" registry as everyone else, note that they are staying in Camp Albion
Go through initial workshops in safety and keeping a camp.
No drugs, alcohol or smoking allowed in Camp Albion
Keeping to the same camp rules as the rest of the camp
Parents/Guardians are still responsible for their youth even though they stay in a separate camp
Parents/Guardians need to respect that this is Camp Albion and should be treated in somewhat the same way that you treat their bedroom at home
Children under the age of 13 are to vacate Camp Albion after 8 pm (if nothing else has been arranged beforehand).
