Archery co-ordinator Lady Aaliz de Cordes (Anna Andersson).
Welcome to participate in a fun week full of archery activities, both practice and competitions - official and novelty shoot!
There will be practice and/or competition every day, from the first Sunday. NOTE! No practice on Friday when we’re concentrating on the Knäckebröd Competition.
For Children and Youth, there will of course also be archery activities. We will have time for practice, official competitions and other fun competitions such as parrot shoot etc.
Children and Youths who want to participate in the archery activities should have an adult supervising them while shooting.
There will be opportunities especially for those interested in trying out archery. We have some loaner gear for you to use, both for children and adults.
According to SCA-rules the classification of Child / Youth is done as follows
- Children - up to, and including, 10 years of age
- Youth - 11 to 13 years of age
You can come directly to the competitions if you want to and not participate in the practice. In some cases, the end time may be exceeded.
To avoid misunderstandings about scoring, rules etc there will be a breafing and all questions is to be asked to the marshal-in-charge of that particular competition. General questions can be taken with the helping archery marshals.
The marshals will have arm bands for identification.
More info about current starting times etc. can be found on the bulletin board and at the archery field. The archery schedule will also be a part of the big integrated schedule – check it for new activities!
If you are interested in arranging a competition/practice please contact the archery co-ordinator Lady Aaliz de Cordes (Anna Andersson)!
Are you curious about what we do? Don’t hesitate to ask! We are always happy to talk about archery, arrows and all things related!
Hope to see you all at the archery range, old and young, experienced and brand new to archery!
